As I have come to expect from Alice Winters, A Villain For Christmas was full of laughs, some cringe worthy moments and a cute romance. My favourite thing about the book was that there were many sweet, comfort moments too, which I don't usually find in her books. Landon and August were adorable and though I hate furless cats, Balzac in supersuit sounded adorable.

This is exactly what I expected from an Alice Winters book—juvenile (yet hilarious) banter and lovable characters. Did it feel eerily similar to her other books?—Yes. Did I still enjoy it?—Yes.

I wanted to love this book because I adore Alice Winter's hitman series.
The characters didn't click for me as I had hoped, the chemistry wasn't there.
I mean don't get me wrong, Landon who just wants to stay in and read was completely relatable but I couldn't love our "good guy" August.
The idea of the villain family made me laugh at times but the story just didn't flow and seemed to drag at times.

Listen, I loved this, but...Landon became So while I did love the story and world, the character similarities took me out. I'd have preferred they remained their own unique characters.
