What an epic! I really enjoyed following the Vignes family through their ups and downs. Each character was so nuanced. The plot of the book kept me intrigued. I was not disappointed by the ending, kind of bitter-sweet. A fun read all around!

This book seems like a tragedy. The characters are endearing and you can't help but worry for them and be angry when they demonstrate selfish and dishonest behaviour. They seem so real with their worries, hopes and fears. The writing ia so delicate and beautiful as well.

I really liked this book and I thought it was well done. It actually got me out of a book rut, so I will be forever grateful.

I think the writing and concept was super cool, I just wasn’t very attached to the characters
