Actual rating is 3.5. The begining of this book really hooked me and that lasted throughout most of the book. When I got towards the end the momentum slowed down for me. The ending seemed a bit rushed to me. I still really enjoyed this book and the world that the author spun was dazzling!

I loved the magical enchantments and political intrigue the best in the book! I feel like there were some loop holes but I can look past them bc the vibes were vibing 💕👗✨

A light and overall enjoyable read. I liked the two main characters, but the rest of the characters felt flat to me. I think this book was longer than it should have been, and some parts of it were dragged out too much. It felt very slow at certain points.
The plot was very predictable, but I’m still a sucker for these tropes, so…
