Grab your box of tissues and clear away a day devoted to reading this book. This devastatingly beautiful book will make you rethink much of your existence. It's a true testimony of our short lived lives and the people that enter into our being.

Great book but idk about the hype it's getting whoop

Un poco sobrevalorado, pero está bien para iniciarse a la lectura.

There isn't much I have to say about this book except of...Okay! I am truly heartbroken because of this book, but the fact that it doesn't "end good" is what makes this book so dear to my heart.

Meh. That pretty much sums up my reaction for this book. I liked the story, I liked the characters and I was ok with the ending, but it wasn't the life-altering, tear-jerking, never-gonna-love-like-this story I know some people have described it as. I laughed, I thought about crying, I laughed some more, this is a very enjoyable story. My only dislike about it was the sometimes preachyness of the characters. I don't have passages from my favorite books or whole poems memorized that symbolize life, death and other crazy philosophical topics, but at the same time I understood why they were important to the characters. A good read, maybe some more John Green books are in my future.

Damn, that was good. Sad, sweet but not at all syrupy, great YA or just plain literature. I highly recommend it, but be warned that it will almost certainly break your heart. A crystal clear, snarky, articulate, empathetic perspective on a terminal love story.

Love, love John's writing. This was one of his first books I read after knowing him from Crash Course.

If you're wondering if the book is the heart breaking but beautiful coming of age story that the film is, it is. I don't cry at very many books, but this got me.

Of course the story differs in places from the film but the characters feel like the same people and listening to the book felt like getting to know more about them. Historically I've preferred to read a book before seeing the film but actually I enjoyed this way round too.
