Was enjoying it so much and then got 25% in and heard a grusome SA of a 12 year old girl. I think it is going to be necessary to the main character's development and hopefully motivate some higher stakes in the class divisions of this world, but I can't force myself to continue. It's me not you Leigh!!!!

Also would like to add that I'm shocked child abuse wasn't labeled higher in the content warnings by readers. 12 is a child. I most likely wouldn't have picked this up if child abuse had been higher in the graphic content warnings.

I've somehow had a store of Leigh Bardugo books collecting on my bookshelf despite never having read her before. Clearly some deep part of my psyche knew that I needed her in my life because dear god did I love this book. (Granted I did spend the first probably 50 pages confused out of my mind as to what was happening).
