I still love the series, but I wasn't a fan of Mayumi and how she behaved and how it was just accepted. I'm a closed off girly myself with a tough outer shell but even i know I cant just demand to know someone's trauma and give none of my own or show my soft side. That just irked me through out the story her self entitled behavior to demand EVERYTHING from Faunus just cause she knew he would cause she knew he cared.

This was my favorite one in the series so far and feel that any I read after will not meet expectations. I love Faunus and Mayumi, from their witty and playful banter to their very spicy moments everything about their relationship made me love them. I smiled, laughed out loud, felt sadness and even shed real tears with this book. If you love smut and don’t mind out this world relationships between a monstrous creature and a human demon slayer then this is right up your alley and I highly recommend you read it!

This is book three of The Duskwalker Brides series.
Opal Reyne blew it all away with this story! I enjoyed everything about the characters. Mayumi is Asian and a very self reliant woman. Kitty is one the coolest ever! One, because he struggle mentally and physically. Warning - must read A Soul to Keep and A Soul to Heal first. In my opinion, it really begins who Kitty is as a duskwalker. Spicy and also a bit of a tear jerker at a few points. Opal has a way with story building and this is not lacking at all!
This will be read again for sure!
