This series is absolutely breathtaking! I just couldn't put it down! Well...I did, but it was because it was just too good for me. Still,it was a very good read, and proud to share it amongst friends.

I really want to read this book! I was so not satisfied with the ending of starcrossed! I figured out they couldn't be cousins the minute daphne said it. It's not even two months difference but two years! Come on!

NoNoNo. Another fucking love triangle!?!? You've GOT to be kidding me! Does she want to stop me from reading this? I'm really having second thoughts about this book...

Reasons why you shouldn't waste your time with this book :
- boring love triangle ;
- written so badly I wondered more than once if I hadn't accidently put a fanfiction of the book on my Kindle instead of the real book ;
- annoying characters - most of them some version of Mary Sue/Gary-Stu
- the author uses incest as a plot device to grow the sexual tension between the two main characters, which is quite honestly a red flag of douchebaggery in my book.
Spoiler - at some point they have to use water from an Underworld river to help the Furies and free them of their revenge lust. Wow, that one is so hard - which would you give to someone blind by REVENGE? the most known river in Underworld is the one that makes you forget everything, yet they feel like geniuses when they think to try with river Joy. what? WHAT? what will that do? they even experienced themselves that the effects of the water were temporary. But I shouldn't be surprised since Helen can't be bothered to do basic maths to find out that she's not really related to Lucas.

- the author obviously doesn't know the "show, don't tell" rule, because at some points, after perfectly ordinary dialogue, she wrote : "My relationship with Claire was not as it used to be.". Why? How is it different? Why do you think that?
- at some point, Helen tries to kill an immortal beast and when he rises up again, unburnt (like Daenerys. sorry.), she's like "HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?" even though 10 chapters ago, Cassandra told them that it was likely that he would be and explained why.
basically i can't help but wonder how on earth this got published as it is.

I have always been a fan of Greek Mythology and i have to give props to Josephine Angelini her starcrossed series is seriously one of the most interesting series i have ever read! I love her characters i was really worried about hte love triangle but it played out so well the last 40 pages especially had me just eating it up so many twists and turns! I can't wait to read the last one!
