The beginning was a bit slow, but it was definitely a “setup” book for what’s next to come. By middleish of the book, it picked up and the ending makes you want to start the next book immediately.

I loved the book...but the love triangle was sooo awful!!!
4 1/2 stars.
I loved it though I was a bit reluctant at the beginning. To be honest, I'm sick and tired of love triangles but I saw this one managed in a very different way. Orion wasn't just another amazing guy who made feel Helen confused, he was there when the rest of the world pushed her away from Lucas. In her weakest moment, she leaned on Orion for help and that developed her feelings. He appeared in the exact moment, when Helen and Lucas were fighting to overcome their own feelings. That's what made me tolerate and appreciate this love triangle thought I don't like that she claims to love them both at the end because it's obvious it's not the same. I needed that clarification from Helen in this book.
The characters are strong an well defined and I really felt their pain and struggle in all the situations they had to face.
I also loved the interactions with the gods, Hades being my favourite.
Honestly, I can't wait for the third book. Not because I want to know whom Helen will pick at the end, that's the least important thing now. Because I want to know how the Scions will fight the Olympians. This war is going to be epic and I can't wait to read about THAT.

Ansonsten top, 4,5 ⭐️.

Dreamless was a great sequel. It had me hooked and holding my breathe until the last page. If you thought Starcrossed took you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, Dreamless is like the never ending ride. I felt so many emotions while reading this book and can't wait to see how this whole series will wrap up.
In my opinion this book was even better than the first one! I love Orion and Hector and this book gave me so much content of them, it's probably my most favourite book in this trilogy. About the plot: Helen visiting the underworld and the whole journey from the start to when she saved the furies was super interesting and fun to read. The new characters added to this book made this book very entertaining and I loved the storyline with Zach as well, even though not being a huge fan of him. There aren't many YA/fantasy books about the greek mythology but whoever is interested in this topic will surely enjoy those books!
