I’m not normally one for the surprise pregnancy trope, but Emma Slate can do no wrong with this Tarnished Angel series. I really enjoyed the relationship between Brooklyn and Slash. All of the TA MC guys are super devoted and loving to their women, but Slash is just delicious.

I absolutely loved this story. I cried, laughed, gritted my teeth, and held my breath. It gave me all the feels.

Brooklyn is a sweetheart, and her backstory and bakery are shaky. Then slash comes in, and for lack of better word, knocks it all up and around. Pun intended. Slash has a secretive past, and when it comes to light, Brooklyn has to decide if she can accept it or not.

Highly recommend.
