One the best books ever written.
One of my favorite books of all time, this feels like my soul.

For everyone who loves Addie LaRue!

I would rate this higher if i could.

This is the only highly anticipated read ive had in years that actually held up to the weight if my expectations.

Actually it surpassed it. I was intrigued originally by the premise and primed for what seemed a really unique magic system. Then i read the poppy war trilogy and thought it would also emotionally devestate me.

I did not anticipate how much it would ask of me as a reader. I feel weighed and challenged by this book. I think it is the most politically astute story ive ever read (except maybe The Broken Earth Trilogy) and sacrificed none od the art of story telling to manage it.
