The book was longer than it needed to be, but I will say that the writing made it not terribly dreadful. I think the FMC deserved better. Like first she had to deal with her father abandoning her, then a cheating boyfriend, then Cole’s betrayal. There wasn’t a singular man in her life who chose her. Her talk about that she is constantly forced to give people a second chance to show that they love her and that still not being enough was very poignant.

Delilah may be one of my favorite female main characters of all time in a romance novel, and Cole’s growth 🥹 very very good excited to read Tate’s story next, but I NEED Roman’s story I hope it’s a second chance romanceeeee :)
