If you have wondered what makes someone or an entire culture happy, this is the book for you. In The Geography of Bliss, Eric Weiner travels around the world in search of the secret of happiness. In Switzerland he looks at efficiency, explores endless money in Qatar, and government policy in Bhutan,  in addition to exploring several more countries and insights. At once lighthearted and reflective, the author wraps up back in the US visiting Asheville, NC, a town on the rise due to its multitude of transplants. Read if you enjoy: travel memoirs, books by Bill Bryson, dry humor, self-deprecating comments
