Ok this book was 🥵🥵🥵

Originally gave it 4⭐️, but upon further reflection, it’s a 3⭐️ for me. I definitely enjoyed this and pretty much couldn’t put it down, however, there were some plot points that just didn’t fully add up for me/didn’t make complete sense in hindsight.

I got bored half way through this book and almost didn't finish it. She didn't really go into her trauma.  She hates her father and his position before he died but doesn't really go into why. They don't explain why this plot dealing with her mother was so important. They didn't really talk about her mother at all. This book didn't really feel smooth. It was sex and a half assed plot. Granted the sex was good.

This book is intense. 
I have to say secret society books are not my thing (I don't think), there's a lot of really grotesque behavior in a secret society, our main characters fight against it though.
I was a bit confused by the plot, now that could be because it was multiple pov so I expect to know a lot but there were still secrets. The revelation of these secrets was surprising, and so good I didn't know for sure how it woul  end

The idea that Thorne was working with Giana was heartbreaking, I honestly wasn't sure if it was true or not </spoiker>
The spicy is crazy and not for the new spicey reader, I found parts of it hard to read at first. Overall though it is an outstanding read, keeps you going, no lag and really hard to put down.
