The second I saw these tropes, I knew I needed this book in my life! It did not disappoint. This was my first Elliott Rose read and I definitely need more now.
I loved how she developed these relationships and how authentic they felt despite the reader knowing it was going to happen. The mystery kept me on my toes and I did not see the twist happening.
There were a couple of side plots that felt⊠forced and didnât seem to have a point but Iâm holding out hope that these were set ups for future books.
This book was hot. Like đ„”đ„”đ„” so if youâre into that, this is a good one. It had a mix of plot and spice and I thoroughly loved the characters.
Canât wait to see what else she has in store in this world!

When I first started this book I wasnât sure if I was going to enjoy the writing style, but it took me less than 50 pages to get absolutely hooked. The more I read, the more certain I was that there is no other way this book couldâve been written. Itâs perfect for the characters, the plot was really good and I definitely enjoyed it but if smutty scenes are your thing this book is perfect đ„”đ„”
Ven, Ky and Thorne had me absolutely SWOONING. I fell for each of them the same way Fox did. Watching the men fall throughout the book was *chefâs kiss*
I loved every second of it and didnât want it to end đ„Č the description in this book is top tier, and I canât recommend this book enough. I wouldnât change a thing.
I will absolutely be recommending this book to anyone willing to listen to me babble đ
Definitely check the content warnings before you read if necessary so you have a full understanding of what youâre getting into but I promise you it is SO worth the read!!

Honestly I don't know what to say. I usually love Elliots work so its a bit of a disappointment to have rated it so lowly compared to past works. But after the perfection that was the Nocturnal Hearts series this just didn't hit the same way for me (and thats okay!)
Despite the scorching chemistry between each of the characters and hot scenes that leave you blushing, I felt myself a little bored - and that I didn't really care about the characters or their pasts or what would happen to them in the future or even the plot lol. this is very much so personal and I think that if youâre thinking about picking it up you should!

Absolutely devoured this book! It was so funny, kept me on my toes,and SEXY AF!!!! Holy heck the spice in here is unreal. Living for the 4 of them together! What can I say⊠wow wee! I loved this dark and gritty why choose book and cannot wait for the follow up books for the others character sets. Whatâs not to love with enemies to lovers, MMFM (yes sword crossing), morally gray men and a sassy bratty FMC.
This book made me put it down to scowl for the FMC, then promptly pick it back up and keep reading in anger and annoyance for her. It gave me the emotionally roller coaster journey you love and hate all at once.
This is not one for those who might be delicate to BDSM, restraint, blood play, MM, sharing and a few other kinks. Check the triggers.
