'Small Hours: A Mrs. Frollein Collection' by Valerie Minelli collects some of her popular webcomic.

The strips are divided into sections by seasons and feature mostly ordinary things like morning breath, trips to Ikea, living with someone you love. There are strips about leg shaving and social media and pets.

The art and strips are cute. I didn't find them laugh out loud funny, but they were nice. There are other strip collections I've read that they remind me of, so they didn't feel wholly original in nature. If you like other cute in love strips, you should like this as well.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Oni Press and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

A cute, simple, and extremely relatable collection of tiny comic strips. Definitely a good pick me up between long plot heavy novels!

This is a quick read filled with heartwarming, funny and adorable comics. The art style is simple, which perfectly suits the theme of finding joy in the small/simple things. It's the perfect cosy Sunday read!

A cozy graphic novel told with little comic strip mini stories that tend to be funny. This is mostly about the author and her husband's relationship and the sweet moments that they share. For example, snuggling up to your partner in bed (and they toot), seeing the worst in the media but a stranger does something kind.

Very sweet, easy to read cartoon strips about modern heterosexual relationships, reminded me of an updated more verbose 'Love is'. I like the way the book moves through the seasons not only through weather but also stages of relationship. The artwork is simple, accessible and lovely reflecting the story well.

With thanks to Netgalley for a free ARC

This is a fun, fluffy, light-hearted read that doesn't take long but will be fun to go back and skip through. I think these sorts of comics garner the attention because they're so relatable and make you realize that there are other people like you. It's all about little moments of every day life.

Some of the comics in here, I already knew from instagram but some of them were new to me and I really liked those as well.
