Great read

I enjoyed this collection of short stories involving zombies in one fashion or another. Some stories were funny, some tragic, some sweet, but all were well written. I hope to read more from this author soon.

I picked this book up at a zombie event. Usually I read full length novels (not short stories) but Katie's stories pulled me in. Each story is unique and gives the reader a look at how the zombie plague might come into someone's life and change it forever. I was most impressed by Katie's ability to alter her writing style to fit the voice of each character. As a writer myself I know how difficult that is to do.

My only complaint is that I finished reading the collection too quickly! As I turned the last page I found myself wishing for just one more story, one more delicious take on the zombie genre.

Keep writing, Katie!
