Last OG. I hyped up Kirsten and was left feeling a bit deflated, but still enjoyable!

Had to read this when I found it in a Little Free Library in the neighborhood. My mom’s family immigrated from Norway in very much the same way/time as Kirsten did from Sweden. It’s no wonder I know so much about history given that I read all of the American Girl books. They sure pack a lot (including serious trauma) into 60ish pages. Appreciate the historical section at the end, too.

[Re-reading the American Girl books in quarantine to feel something 1/6]
Justice for Marta honestly.

Educational and engaging, this is one of my favorite American Girls so far!
