Vince Tanev is the rookie hot shot that Maven King wants nothing to do with. She knows his type. But when her job wants her to have 24/7 access to him, she has no choice but spend all her time with him and he will do everything he can to break down her barriers and show her more than the playboy persona everyone else sees.
I loved their initial meeting and the way he was instantly intrigued. He knew exactly what he wanted and that was Maven. Their banter was so much fun and I loved the way he was with her. When they finally started to get close, he knew he was going to have his work cut out to show her more than what she thinks she knows about him. And does he work for it. Maven had definite reservations due to a past relationship but once she opened up to Vince, all bets were off.
And then the spice. You know I can’t talk about a Kandi Steiner book without talking about the spice. Once again, Kandi leaves you with scenes that will live rent free. The workout room. Chapter 28. Just perfection.
