Why did it take me so long to read this?!? I know better than to sleep on a Kandi Steiner book!! This was no different!! I am living in my hockey romance era, and this was spot on for all my favorite things! Maven was such a bad ass and didn’t take any shit! She protected her heart fiercely and had good reason to be wary. Vince, a playboy, fell first and fell hard before he even realized it! The ugly pottery at the silent auction
