If he would have fought for her it would have been perfect but he didn’t even tried to make her stay.
I was also tired of the way that this book felt repetitive!! And I had difficulty to see the chemistry between them !! The smut was really great but the love between the characters was not so good !! I also didn’t like the back and forth like I was tired of her being like : i really like Vince he’s so great and not what i was expecting but two seconds after she was like : he’s not a good man he’s like my evil ex because he’s rich !! And like why was he having a puck bunny on him because she was talking to his friend !! Like nooo ewwwww
So it will stay a 3 stars for me because even if a like talking shit there was good smut and I giggled a little bit !! Like when he bought her plants because he knew she loved gardening or how he said that his nickname was Mr king because she would be to indépendant to take his name during their wedding ( she didn’t liked him then ) but I would really have loved if he fought for what he wanted instead of letting her walk away all the time !! It would have been so much simpler if they communicated the right way

It took a while to get into but I enjoyed it, not so much the constant back and forth even though I know she was scared of getting hurt again. But overall good
While I found the main characters slightly cringe, I enjoy a golden boy hockey star MMC and he didn’t disappoint.
