Simply wonderful. This book handles real, deep issues with humor, grace, and poise. It was a delightful read.

Great plot that moves steadily with very few stagnant areas. Addresses the domestic abuse issue very well.

This was a funny and sad story. Fluffy about a non-fluffy topic. I enjoy her writing and this was no different.

The audiobook elevated this to new levels. I love the narrator. OG Liane is so good. This was a Tequila Mockingbird book, and shockingly the drink was delicious even though I usually don't like ginger beer. 5/5, definitely making it again.

I loved all the main characters in this book. I didn't realize the book was essentially a mystery when I started it. But the fact that you are told at the beginning that someone dies keeps you reading and draws you into these character's lives. I was mostly interested in Celeste and the domestic violence she endures. The author seems to capture the reality of her situation so well without making it a soap opera. I loved this book, it's message and its author.
