Olivia Gatwood's poetry said everything I didn't experience in adolescence and everything I've been thinking as a young adult. Dealing with topics varying from sexual assault to young love, her voice is both soothing and heartbreaking. Will update with a list of my favorite poems as soon as I do a re-read to better absorb everything!!

Crying and throwing up!! Absolutely beautiful and devastating. The dichotomy of being a woman. Purchasing this and making all my friends and nonexistent daughters memorize these poems.

Olivia Gatwood is my favorite poet by far. Her work makes me cry and chuckle simultaneously at times and she always reminds me what being a woman means and makes me realize emotions I forgot I felt or maybe never realized I felt at all.
