Meh. Maybe, because this was my favourite one of the Artemis Fowl series as a kid, I might just have been expecting too much from this one. But this time through, it just didn't capture my interest the way that books one through five did.
I took ages getting through this one, and felt like there were a lot of sections of scenes repeated from more than one character's perspective unnecessarily. Also, why is Artemis having some sort of moral enlightenment arc

I love Artimis Fowl, but I think the author is running out of idea's and I'm not sure why he wrote this book. It was gook, but not as good as the other books.

All of these books in the series have been fantastic.
This is the first one I've listened to on audiobook and it made the experience of the story so much better. While I read the other books on my Kindle, I felt like something was missing. (On a somewhat related note, I'm disappointed that the movie was so inaccurate. I couldn't get through more than 5 minutes of it.)
What I remember most clearly is Artemis arguing that the "monkey" they were trying to find was actually a lemur. He both broke and followed a lot of rules of time travel, which reminded me a lot of Loki the series on Disney+ now that I think about it.
If you're looking for an emotional, reality-bending, stakes heightening novel, then you've found the one. I wonder what's in store for Artemis as the end of the series approaches.

I loved this one a bit more than the previous one. I loved the time travel aspect and I loved the interactions between (view spoiler). And some things happened in this book that made me go (!!!!!!!!!). It did kind of put me in a little Artemis Fowl slump, cuz I did pick up the next book right after finishing this one but couldn’t get through it. So I’m going to put them on hold for a bit and probably finish the series in May (because of the OWLs).
This one was so wonderful! I little complex, yes, but the ending was so well worth it!!
However: Where was Minerva? I thought she'd be a reoccurring character...

This time travel adventure was pretty entertaining and fun. As Murphy's Law goes: Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

What I have learned applies to my life today!
