I don’t like the book, I like Josh. There was a lot of problematic things in the book like ableism, making comparisons of wanting to see someone to addiction and OD, addiction is a serious thing and not remotely close to wanting to visit your boyfriend. Even what she called Josh’s boss didn’t feel right to me.

There was about 50 whole pages of her being sick and for someone with emetophobia I just wanted it over.

Lucy was not a loveable character. The last half/third of the book was better but she was just very annoying to be honest. And this book was written entirely from her 1st person perspective.

The “I’m so small” didn’t have to be mentioned every chapter.

Time was a factor that introduces the flow of the story. It had a lot of specific details annotating just for a day which is a good read for one sitting. All in all it was nice to see how it ended with growth spurts, breaking stereotypes and honest communications.
