This book was wonderfully trashy and i was obsessed.
it really hit every “shitty 2000/2010s rom com” trope that i like and i don’t know if y’all have seen Crazy Ex Girlfriend (if not watch it it’s my favourite show ever and one of the best shows ever made) BUT Lucy and Josh reminded me soooo much of Rebecca and Nathaniel from crazy ex girlfriend that i could help but LOVE them

I knew this book was going to be a 5 star read at page 24 it’s also the first book I’ve finished in a day in months!
REREAD - I love The Hating Game so much. Lucy is such an intriguing heroine because she’s the perfect mixture of crazy and hilarious. Josh is easy to fall for after his softer side comes out and I’m a complete sucker for work place rivals. The games and jokes between this couple really draw the reader in. This will always be a favorite romance of mine!

My little YA Romance teen heart basically crashed out reading this. I LOVED IT. I wish I read this when it came out because I ate it up. Joshua Templeman the man you are. I am genuinely such a romantic GOSH.

It is amazing. Like the most amazing cute and beautiful book, you'll read.
Like seriously Joshua loved her from the very first moment, from the moment he saw her million-dollar smile. And how he was treating her when she fell ill, just made my heart swoon.
And his father, his father is a crazy person who thinks he just has one son cuz Joshua dropped out of medical school.
And I loved when lucy stood up for josh like a lioness defending her lion. Loved it.
