Okay I heard the ending was a “the best closing line of any novel I’ve read this year” (The Times) but holy shit I wasn’t expecting that!! It was creepy and mysterious and I really really enjoyed it. I wouldn’t call it a horror book as I did find it scary but it had great atmosphere. I think the best word to describe it is ‘unsettling’. I really really enjoyed this and I’m SO glad I finally picked it up.
