Rereading this series to read the newest book (2020) only to announce they’re adding a fourth in 2025! I forget how much i enjoyed this series as a kid, and it still holds up today. I still critique the use of the love triangle, but i understand why it’s included. Overall still a great, enjoyable read.

Just completed my third time reading, and my first time using the audiobook, and I’m still filled with such deep love for this story. I enjoy this book everytime and it never gets old. It’s truly a lasting, all-time favorite.

I ate it up but are we shocked? (no)
I love the world building a lot, it really feels like you're there.

Katniss literally just trying to survive but any acts outside the box is being seen as a rebellion but she literally doesn't fr want to is interesting. 

Katniss and Peeta both retaining disabilities from surviving the games is also interesting, alongside Haymitch's alcoholism, showing that no one survives the games completely unscathed.

Why did Peeta have so much rizz omg?
