Gasp! Did someone say "Brother's Rival" trope?
Now disclaimer: I. AM. NOT. SAVVY. WITH. THE. F1. WORLD.
But #noahslade made me wanna dive in deep and not come back.
Also this had one of my favourite dedications of a book.
Story centers around communication degree holder/ social media influencer and vlogger #mayaalatorre and the a prodigal son/ F1 legend #noahslade who also (conveniently) happens to be #mayaalatorre brother's #santiagoalatorre ultimate rival.
Each character was very independent in their own way. I loved the supporting characters and their stories as well (which continues as a series)
This was a book with dual POVs by Maya and Noah and there were accurate descriptions of the F1 world for any reader who is not a follower of the sport.
Everything, starting from the secret rendezvous, to the finding out , to the acceptance, to the ending was perfect. The climax point was super sweet; it had it's action but it had it's romance as well. Loved this read and the characters.
⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 stars.

When I read the blurb of TᕼᖇOTTᒪᗴᗪ, I wanted in.
When I read the blurb of TᕼᖇOTTᒪᗴᗪ, I wanted in.
The info about F1 isn’t completely correct, discrediting many people who work there, the writing is bad and the book is just filled with smut and lies, the story becomes secondary to it. And I hated that. Couldn’t bring myself to finish it.
