This one was a little harder for me to read; not content wise because Carter knows how to weave an intriguing murder but if felt very bogged down in explaining the sculptures (and other things) that it made it too hard for me to visualize. Overall it was a good murder mystery even if it was very dense.

This one was a slower read than the others. It had an unique plot but it just didn't capture my interest as much as the prior books had.

Another gruesome case for Hunter and Garcia...

I really hope Alice sticks around in the series from here on out, I thought she was a welcome addition to the team.


At times a bit too gory for my tastes but definitely a gripping read from start to finish with lots of plot twists and turns.
