Oh my goodness. I read this book in French and it took me a while and was kind of hard, but I'm honestly very proud of myself for making it through. It was a pretty good play, and in my French class we also discussed the historical context of it, which I think made the play more interesting. I liked it.

Cette réécriture de la tragédie de Sophocle est une agréable découverte, surtout si l'on prend en compte le contexte dans lequel Anouilh l'écrit, c'est-à-dire lors de l'occupation allemande de la France durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. 

J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'originalité des répliques et le caractère meta de la pièce!
