This was super cute! I love the idea of more humans getting comfortable with monsters, enough to feel safe with them living in a camp. The relationship between Ghost and Aury is very sweet and the angst at the end with Rig was great! I can't wait to see what he gets up to in Gloam!

But why was the first half of this book kind of three dimensional and unique, when it’s supposed to be hot brainless garbage?
3.5? 4? Idk. I liked this. Ghost and the Rycke () were interesting characters, and I enjoyed their romance. My favorite scene was when Ghost finally stood up to Anchor. Lily Mayne has done a great job so far with weaving in worldbuilding and characters to her books in a way that doesn't take away from the romances or characters' journeys, and it makes me excited to read the rest of the series.

This is definitely the best book in the series so far, I loved it.
This time there was more plot and I loved the build-up towards their relationship as well. I just can't get enough of the painted villain who's actually a softie, I'm sorry.
The ryke (he has a name, but you should discover it by yourself) was the sweetest boy and I loved to discover him and his personality. Ghost (also has a name) was a sweetheart, he was probably the MC I liked the most although he had his moments in which I wanted to roll my eyes and tell him to get a clue.
This time I loved the secondary character quite a lot because we actually HAD secondary characters with enough personality traits to be noticeable. Lilac was beautiful, I can't wait for his book. He shined the most in my eyes. Moth was another character that I loved and I'm glad that we finally got to meet him, especially because we were teased about him from book one. Rig was a sweetheart, I loved his friendship with Ghost and his kind nature.
Anchor...wasn't always easy to love but I'm glad that she wasn't vilified in the end - we need strong, beautiful women as well.
I'm happy because the next book is the Novella from Wyn's perspective and as we already know, we don't get the monsters' pov often (I don't mind though, it makes them more interesting and mysterious in my eyes). Wyn is still my favourite character so far, let's see how and if this will change.
