Lu avec mon groupe de français, on a mis plusieurs mois pour le finir car elles ont réalisé que lire en français à voix haute et retenir le texte est un challenge. Elles ont tellement aimé ce premier tome qu'elles veulent lire le deuxième. On s'est amusée à comparer la version originale, qui se passe en Cornouailles, et la version française, qui a lieu en Bretagne. Elles préfèrent toutes la version française!

Pour ma part, bien sûr, je l'avais lu quand j'étais beaucoup plus jeune. Ça a été un vrai plaisir de retrouver Claude, Annie, Mick, François et Dago.

I loved these books as a kid but reading them as an adult (and in their original language) my only thoughts are: these are so undeniably British and very obviously from the previous century
