This is a quick read and although it is still a slow burn on the romance front, there are a lot of secrets being revealed in this and the plot is ticking along nicely. We learn a little more of the history of the war and the mythology of the world, some of Wyn's elusive backstory and spend some time in the human realm.
Wyn has a lot going on in this and although I was starting to get a little frustrated on the back and forth with the MMCs and the self-deprecation, overall it did balance out towards the end between some sweet moments and some humour. My favourite part had to be in the cave ("It hurts lower") which did make me genuinely laugh and I loved her vent towards the middle of the book when she gets tired of everyone trying to placate her. Oakes is still my favourite as he tries to tell Wyn how he feels, Jaden's past is explored and Eldrin also spills some truths which I am very much here for.
We also meet several new characters Twyla and Rhys being two of the main ones. I wouldn't mind Rhys being added to the mix as I think that would be an interesting dynamic but I think he's up to something so I am reserving judgement! I also have the biggest beady eye on King Magnus as he loves a loophole and I do not trust him one inch.
The cliffhanger isn't too bad compared to book one and definitely feels more like a pause before the action starts back up again. I'm looking forward to seeing what book three brings next!
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely and I have added all the authors works to my TBR

Tangled Secrets, book 2 of the Fae Hearted series by Yve Vale @author.yvevale First off, I am a fan of Yve & this book was no different! This book does end on a cliffhanger!
I loved this book so much. I loved the twist about Wyn. 😳 The dynamics of Wyn, Oakes, Madeny & Eldrin are fantastic. The spicy scenes were great.
I received this #ARCBook early and for my honest review.
