I had no idea what was happening at any point in this novel but I'm ok with it.

My God, I finally finished it. Even though it took a long time to complete, I really liked this novel. There is more happening in this story than just letters being passed around like in a traditional seduction novel, which means the issues at hand are a little bit more open to the world culture than just around the gossip circle.
In all, Charles Brockden Brown is amazing.
