The writing style is very alive and vivid, with strange and floaty metaphors, and blurred lines between reality and imagination. I found this super interesting but its not for everyone

Five stars - this is not a perfect book, by any means, but it drew me in and hit me hard. So many people seem to think this is a funny book, and though there is humour a-plenty, there is so much more, raw emotion and dreams and life flung together in a bleak and beautiful landscape. A friend bought me this book as a gift, years ago, and I wish I'd got round to reading it sooner. Highly recommended.

Очень здорово и легко написано, всё время вспоминается детство из 90тых, с фантазией вместо игрушек.. Полно черного юмора, перемежованного с серъезностью. Жалко, что у автора даже на английский не все книги переведены. Ну.... Эх!
