i understand this is the predecessor to ‘the silence of the lambs’. i love the development of francis dolarhyde and the involvement of hannibal lecter. this book is near perfect, but it just doesn’t hit the same as it’s sequel.

I actually think about this books a lot and how good it was. I really recommend and it’s much better than the film
it focusses on actual Francis not Hannibal so don’t expect stuff about Hannibal even though they put his name all on the front cover he’s just a minor character.

I enjoyed this a lot, it came together really well but I felt the conclusion was a little rushed. Probably gonna check out the other books in the series while I'm at it.
