I confess that it took me a while to get into the story because of the characters. However, the plot twist was worth it.

Really good. I enjoyed the twists and didn’t see them coming. All I can say is poor Delilah.

Content warnings: no sexual content, there is murder but nothing graphic or gory, infrequent cursing but still several words…1 GD and 1 F bomb

Oh, we love Frieda - She is my pallet cleanser between heavy content, and I'm rarely disappointed, even when the story is outlandish. With Never Lie, she delivered exactly what I was expecting - which is a book of characters that are truly awful people, and a plot twis  I never would have seen coming.

Never Lie is a wild ride, and per Friedas MO, the twist will knock you off your feet. Highly recommend for a fast past quick and easy read 💕

There's something about this that is off that's why I deducted a star. But, I liked how fast paced and exciting this is. The characters were sick and delusional which was interesting. The narrator was unreliable! Lol. I hate when that happens; why are you lying to me? 😝 Anyway, this was fun.✨

This was a good one! I thought it was kind of slow but had so many smaller plots within the big plot that it kept my interested. Oh my goodness the ending was something I never saw coming! I kept trying to figure out the twist but never imagined what actually happened, even though after I found out, it seemed obvious! It was a very sinister ending…

the therapist was the best part of the book. good story, writing felt a bit weird at times, felt like it was trying to be super on the nose about leading you to believe a certain conclusion. ending  twist felt a bit rushed. loved the multiple POV’s and the characters felt super complex and you couldn’t grasp an exact idea of who’s the villain and who isn’t which was nice.

This book was... something. It wasn't until I was about 60% in that I found myself actually enjoying it. Now this is one of my first murder mysteries so it might just be that this isn't my genre. It's written very well, hence why my rating is as high as it is but the plot is just... idk it's lacking something for me.
Not to mention by the end of the book, the characters I did like had died and the characters I thought I liked I ended up hating. Justice for Delilah, get her out of this deranged family.
