Ms. McFadden gets me every. single. time. I really thought I had this one figured out to my core from the beginning and I was SO WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING! The twists were BEYOND shocking in this one. The only thing keeping it from a 5 for me is this book did not have her best epilogue in my opinion. Otherwise, bravo Frieda - you played me AGAIN.

This one reminded me of Rock Paper Scissors, one of my favorite thrillers, and I loved how we were uncovering the mystery with the MC. I also loved the atmosphere, the characters are stuck in a house in the middle of a snowstorm so it added to that creepy feeling. The ending had me shocked and it’s one of my favorite twists ever!

I was pleasantly surprised with the twist. I’m usually able to guess and this one caught me off guard.

It was an easy read but the internal dialogue of Tricia was a bit annoying to me.
