Oh, we love Frieda - She is my pallet cleanser between heavy content, and I'm rarely disappointed, even when the story is outlandish. With Never Lie, she delivered exactly what I was expecting - which is a book of characters that are truly awful people, and a plot twis  I never would have seen coming.

Never Lie is a wild ride, and per Friedas MO, the twist will knock you off your feet. Highly recommend for a fast past quick and easy read đź’•

Slow start, worried it was going to be slow the whole time. It was not. Without knowing it I was obsessed. A quick read.

Holy cow, I didn’t see that coming from one million miles away. Talk about a twist! Before I got to the plot twist, I thought the book wasn’t bad, probably just your average thriller. The last 20% of the book completely changed my mind. Frieda wrote this in such a way that I literally said “wtf” because there was no way you knew that was how this would end.

I just hate when the twist is that the main characters are actually deeply evil people. It feels very gimmicky and I need to like my characters

I was so freakin convinced I knew who the bad guy was and I was SO wrong! What a wild ride. I loved the short chapters, it made the book fly by and as usual the mystery aspect was on point. Definitely a good thriller.

Oh this one was not good at all sadly. The story telling was very absurd and the characters were very dumb and unlikeable. The storytelling was bad and took away all the tension because you exactly knew what would happen next. The setting and atmosphere but that's it. I thought that I would get a Rock Paper Scissor esque thriller but this one felt very flat.
