Ms. McFadden gets me every. single. time. I really thought I had this one figured out to my core from the beginning and I was SO WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING! The twists were BEYOND shocking in this one. The only thing keeping it from a 5 for me is this book did not have her best epilogue in my opinion. Otherwise, bravo Frieda - you played me AGAIN.

Whilst the beginning of this book takes its time, it really picks up at the halfway point. What you think will happen is completely turned on it’s head and it’s a nice change for once.

I definitely didn’t expect the twists in this book, that’s for sure.
