I've loved all the books in this series so much and this one was no different. It was a roller coaster of blood and gore, good intentions and poor decisions all the way with an excellent surprise at the end. I loved it and can't wait for the next installment of Darby's adventures.

Extremely pleasing ending
One thing that has annoyed me in this series is how Darby allows herself to be weak. She's always playing catch up. This book starts with her absolutely done with that. I'm not surprised at one person's true colors. I do hope the potential relationship with Aemon is explored further.
