On the first time I read this book I didn't get far but then I picked it up again and finished it. It did drag on and was boring in some parts. I wasn't really interested in who had done it as it was pretty clear who, the only question I wanted to know was why?
Money, how original! And then the eye roll- it was the husband. Originality much?
So no, didn't particularly enjoy it.

At times a bit slow, but good strong ending. Worth reading more from Lisa Gardner.

I really enjoyed this story! It pulled me in from beginning to end and had me sitting on my seat trying to put all the pieces together. This story was done really well since you couldn't just guess or there was a twist to the information. This story was never boring and always left me needing more, to figure out what was happening next and trying to get all the puzzle pieces to fit together. I was engaged with the characters the entire time, both the detectives and the family. I'm excited to see what is coming next for Tessa Leoni and hopefully we get to see more of Wyatt as well.
The narrator did a fantastic job with the story and all the characters as well. It really added to the story for me and brought it to life.

I think this was the best Lisa Gardner book I've read! LOVED the story line and hadn't a clue about who was behind it until the very end!
Book #75 Read in 2013
Touch and Go by Lisa Gardner
This was my first book by this author and I will definitely read more of her books. In this one, Tessa is a private investigator. The company she has recently begun to work for contacts her when the company's owner, his wife and teenager daughter are kidnapped. Surprisingly, there is no contact with a ransom demand. Tessa works with the FBI and local law enforcement to try to find the family while they are thought to be still alive.
This book had good twists and turns that kept me hooked. The family had its share of problems and had to put them aside and band together to try to survive this ordeal. Gardner writes interesting characters. I enjoyed this book.
