Once upon a time I was looking for fantasy reverse harem books with sweet guys in the harem. I still remember how enthusiast Ashwood was, because it didn't happen often that she could recommend someone her own book. I read the first book in the trilogy and she was absolutely right: These guys were all three in their own way amazingly sweet and I loved the Sea Dragons and their witch. I was therefore quite curious to read the second book.

I loved how this second book started where the first book ended, almost as if it was actually one big book that the author cut into two (or actually three) parts. However, since it's been a while since I've read the first book I needed a little time to reconnect with the characters, their story and their world and since there were actually no flashback sentences or small reminders that was a little harder than it usually is.

But once I was connected to the story, the world and its characters again I once again really enjoyed everything! I love how interesting and yet also healthy this relationship is. Yes, there are some issues, they have been keeping secrets from each other, but they also do take the time to talk about things and once secrets are in the open people are opening up about all the rest too. Of course, the characters do need a little time to forgive, but that's also only natural and healthy.

Although the focus of the story is on the connection between our witch and her sea dragons, there is this small extra plot line of the age old war between the witches and the sea dragons too. At first, since barely anyone knows our heroine is a witch, it's only very small and barely there, but during the book it grows bigger and bigger and leaving us eventually with that horrible cliffhanger was just incredibly mean. Especially since I don't have the third book yet. I'll change that as soon as possible.

Very cute and very happy, but the relationships move extremely quickly, I feel like there could have been a lot more buildup and a lot more to the first part of the series. The plot is good though and is compelling without ever feeling like too much

ENSNARED continues Skye's story as she navigates her relationship with Jack, Ty, and Aiden. This was a bumpy ride, in a good way, and I'm dying to see how this will all end in book 3.

Of the three guys, Jack is definitely my favorite because he's just so open and gentle with Skye. That being said, I loved seeing Ty be more vulnerable and take some really big steps toward making things serious. As for Aiden, *sigh* he's not endearing himself to me with some of his boneheaded moves. Skye should be expecting some big apologies in the next book.

i think i got whiplash from these ppl changing their minds every two seconds but the author knows how to create a cliffhanger i’ll give them that.

fmc is so… things just happen to her that it’s hard to root for her. the mmcs are just there being hot for her one sec and then mad at her the other.

there is no story arc. literally nothing is happening. no relationship building barely any world building and lots and lots of internal dialogue that my eyes were glossing over.

this series could’ve easily been a standalone.

I could not believe the cliffhanger of the first book in this trilogy, Tempted! As I previously stated, I almost pulled a muscle trying to get the second book immediately and while I was at it, I got book 3 too, you know, just in case Zoe Ashwood ended Ensnared with another cliffhanger. Spoiler alert! I did not pull any muscle at the end of book 2. Of course, having book 3 at the ready helped a lot.

As expected, I inhaled the second book. If Tempted sets the scene for the story, Ensnared throws you in the middle of the action with no warning and no regrets. And it’s good! This middle book acts as a bridge between Tempted and Seduced. In this installment, the relationships are building, Skye delves more into her magic powers and it turns out she’s not the useless witch her family and coven seem to think so.

Holy crap I devoured this book. And after the cliffhanger in the first book how could I not?

We were left with Ty, Jack and Skye down on the beach with no one knowing what happened to Jack.

I was so pissed at Ty in this book, I’m just being honest. I get that finding out about Skye was a shock. Especially how he found out. But he had plenty of time to come to terms with it and realize he was acting like a dipshit far before he did. And the adorable ness that is Jack was so sweet. He woke up and instantly wanted his girl then he went to get her.

But our little group worked through it and slowly Skye started to realize her feelings for Aiden too. But there is someone in town that doesn’t want Skye there. From her cabin being trashed and Princess going missing to the way this book ended, things are just getting more complicated for our lovely group.

Oh, questo mi è piaciuto anche di più!
Sempre cliffhanger che lasciano con la necessità di leggere subito il libro successivo, ma nel modo bello.
Ho adorato vedere di più Aiden e spero di vederne anche di più nel terzo!
