YOWZA! This book is so HOT.
There is so much about this book that I liked.

Firstly, it's a forbidden romance. Freshly divorced after 20 years of marriage, Erika finds herself starting over and she grabs the attention of her pool boy, who also happens to be her best friend's son. The tension that this brings to the story had my heart pumping. I love everything forbidden.

Second... Erika is a fierce heroine in her 40s and I love that us middle-aged ladies can have a HOT, sexy love story with a 20 year old guy. She found herself with some diminished self-esteem and I could totally identify with that.. we've all been there.

Third. It is HOT with a capital H. That is all. You need to read it to see.

And there actually is more story than that, which I wasn't expecting that leads to some other boundaries that Erika and Troy need to navigate. I found the main characters to be very likeable and I felt invested in their story and happily ever after.

This was book 2 in the series, I read it after I read book 4. I'm so glad they don't necessarily need to be read in order, but I love recognizing the characters from the book I read before. Age gap, drama, great story, spicy spicy scenes...I loved it. So good.

Sarah Maclean was right.

Age-gap romance story where you will get immersed from the very start, Erika and Troy's story is amazing, there is little angst but overall it's a very sweet nice romance. The chemistry and steam between the characters are hot, they both compliment each other and the story-line has a very well done built up. You will love this book as much as their characters. Five stars!

3.5 stars for the smut oh my god but i think there was too much plot, if that’s possible? and i hate the singer/manager trope which i didn’t even know was gonna be in this book so that’s on me

3.5 stars.

I enjoyed it, but definitely was only really interested in the sex scenes? Their passion was great, but away from each other was sort of boring.
