A lot of people were complaining that book 1 “The Doctor” lacked depth & I think Nikki made up for that with this book. Not to mention as opposed to 1 POV we got both Troy & Erikas in this book. It’s still not as deep as you would expect a romance book to be but I’m under the impression these are supposed to be light & sexy so if that is the case she 100% nailed it & I would definitely recommend if that’s what you’re looking for.
I’ve never read a book that was written purely to be sizzling and sexy before, so I was pleasantly surprised when this story was actually amazing. Troy being 24 and obsessed with his moms 42 year old best friend actually came across as both believable and sexy. As the story developed, their relationship was more than just lust and attraction which made everything even better. This story worked and it was such a fun read.

This is a low drama fun read! There wasn't anything amazing that really stuck out to me, the characters were kind of bland, but I love the reverse age gap, and the smut was HOT. The MMC was a little too perfect, I mean, a pool boy who's also a fitness instructor, a talented musician, and he's been pining after FMC for the last five years? I get that this is fantasy, but I guess I was hoping for a little more conflict, or drama, or something. But if you're looking for a book that is light and sweet and super spicy, this is for you. No need to read the first in the series before this one (I didn't).

Sorry, that was terrible. The fact that he still lived at home and his mom was so involved made it feel icky even though he was 24. And honestly the spice didn’t really do it for me. I’ve also decided that maybe the singer trope is not for me bc something about lyrics in a book always icks me out

I read this book party as audiobook and party as e-book. Didn't like the audiobook as much as I thought I would.

This one gets an extra star for the woman being significantly older. Also, for including a clearly Taylor Swift-y character.
This book is just WOW. Sexy, sweet, and just so good! I can’t wait to read more from this author!
