I loved Older Male Mc in the Doctor book.... But a cougar with her Best friends son Gave me the Ick..... I think a cougar may have been ok if it wasn't so close to home but i was cringing alot during this read......
Not the trope for me. Definitely not a fan of the rock-star/super-star musician theme either.

Lo único que le pido a una novela romántica es que me crea que los personajes han desarrollado emociones profundas el uno por el otro y eso no ocurre aquí. Troy y Erika tienen una gran química y una relación física estupenda, pero no vemos como se enamoran. Su relación pasa de una puramente física a una emocional sin hacer ningún paso intermedio y hace difícil creer en esos sentimientos. Lo cual es una pena porque los personajes individualmente si me parecieron bastante bien construidos. Por último, una manía personal. Esa obsesión por el cuerpo y por justificar la relación entre los personajes porque la mujer de 42 años tenía un cuerpazo y se mataba en el gimnasio me pareció bastante rancio.

For someone even though the first book was a age gap. This age gap seemed liked the MMC (younger) was a little immature and the FMC (older) even though she was in her 40s was extremely immature.
Well on to book three but if I don’t like those characters I’ll be done with this series.

This was so much better than The Doctor. I'm definitely going to continue this series now and I'm so happy I didn't sleep on this one!!
Divorcee sleeps with her pool boy, who is also her best friends son. They carry on in secret and it's SO hot. There's a secondary plot line about his music career and her being an agent and I actually really enjoyed that aspect of the story. The conflict in this was also natural, given the circumstances, which I loved because nothing about it was forced!

Love a good reverse age gap! It’s obvious not as common to be able to read steamy romance with a 42 year old fmc, but sometimes I’m over reading about women much younger than I am.
Erika finds her husband railing his male coworker after 20 years of marriage. She leaves him, and later is naked by her pool when her 24 year old pool boy (a young guy from book 1) sees her and wants her. I LOVED these two together! Troy was so sweet and held such a torch for her and These two were hot af together! As always, Nikki Sloane does spice so well!
