I loved this book! It took me a bit to get into it at the beginning, but it was a beautiful blend of lighthearted, serious, heartrending and hopeful! There is an array of  diverse characters, but hammers home the idea that there is more in this world that unites us than divides us. Highly recommend this book!

It was slow to start as often multiple pov books are as there are so many stories to get off the ground and invested in but after that it was fast paced and exciting. A cast of characters I loved save one. They tackled many complex issues for the most part realistically and with grace.

A feel good read with loveable and funny characters. If you're the type of person who makes up stories about strangers who you keep running into, you'll be able to relate to this book

It's a truly heartwarming read. Centred around eccentric Iona, a magazine agony aunt and her daily commute with her dog Lulu, a lesbian feminist in love with her wife Bea. An incident involving a grape and a passenger nearly choking brings together an unlikely very different bunch of people, Piers, a man who works in the city, Sanjay a male nurse who has panic attacks, Martha a school girl being bullied, Emmie a young woman working in PR with a perfect fiance, and David a property lawyer. Interweaving stories crafted wonderfully. Iona at the helm, comforting and counselling her unlikely friends through their various issue's. You invest and want the best outcones for them all. A really comfortable, easy reading, loveable, brilliant book.
