I really enjoyed this first book! The story didn't particular grip me but it did set out the world and the history, and that cliffhanger was great so excited to read the next one!

Really good series. I really loved the main characters as well as the side characters and felt that they were well developed and that throughout the series all of them continued to develop. I even loved that. Not just in this book but the series as a whole they were twist and turns that I did not see coming. Would recommend.
