I haven't read anything in this series for quite awhile, but I really liked this one. This is a fun graphic novel series for fairy tale lovers.

Biggest volume so far.
I loved the story of rose red and snow white and how rose red handled things.
what about the epic battle between Frau Totenkinder and Mr. dark!! pretty neat stuff.
I even liked the silly things in the aftermath.
Best single issue in any comic i may have ever read would be the 100th issue of fables for sure.
2020 Read.

No complaints here - this series is as reliable as they come; I have yet to be let down by a volume and this is no exception. Not only does the plot get better, but we get a sweet back story on Rose Red and Snow White as well as lots of bonus content at the end. Mr. Dark is still menacing the fables and they soon have to make a hasty retreat from the Farm to the Haven. At least Rose Red got out of bed and finally made an effort to lead her people to safety, she's been moping for far too long since Blue's untimely death!

I'm SO glad we got to see more of Rose Red and the Snow/Rose back story. This makes up for #13 with gusto.

Rose Red has long been one of my favorite fables (although I'd actually never heard of her until I started reading the series), I think in part because she's less than perfect and screws up often and sometimes very badly. Yet, she does have her redeeming qualities so it was great to see her finally start to pull out of her slump and find some purpose. And I've loved Mister Dark since his introduction so it was great to see so much of his villainy in action here. Definitely a great addition to the series!
