CW: violence, kidnapping

I really enjoyed this one. I loved Nico and Violet. I loved their compatibility together as friends and their flirtatiousness. I was a little disappointed that Violet didn't remember what her Aunt Beryl said about a Seer doing their own readings. I find the suspense portions in this series nice, but exceptionally light. I think my favorite parts were Violet realizing her mistake and being willing to tell Nico that she had made a mistake and how she felt. Also, how Violet realized how the supernatural world has wronged the werewolf community and how they could right that wrong. I loved how her family and friends were willing to help her do that.

Ugh. Juliette Cross writes the SWOONIEST heroes! And I want to be best friends with every witch we’ve been introduced to so far. I loved Violet’s huge heart! What she hopes to do for the werewolves is incredible. Speaking of incredibly hot werewolves, Nico was the best! I’m really excited for Livvy’s book because I can’t wait to find out more about the grims. If I’m being totally honest, I am absolutely DYING for Jules and Ruben’s, and Clara and Henry’s books! They’ve been these steadily building background stories and I can’t wait for them to be front and center! If you couldn’t tell, I really like this series! Lol!

I don't know if I can say Witches get Stitches is my favorite  Stay A Spell book so far, but I can say, so far I'm a bigger fan of the werewolves than the vampires (no offense to Devraj!) First Mateo, now Nico, these werewolves (or maybe is just these Cruz men) are a good time. They got anymore cousins hiding back in Texas?

Violet's remark at the end of chapter 1 (or some early chapter) of "and I'll never see him again" was hilarious knowing what we knew as readers from Wolf Gone Wild, and seeing her and Nico dance around each other, fooling absolutely no one with the outrageous sexual tension radiating from them at all times (which Livvy or Clara points out at one point) is just comical.

I appreciated Nico's recognition of Violet's need for independence. That if he came in too hard and fast (beyond the mind blowing oral on the rooftop when they first met), she'd only run away. The slow burn on that was a delicious pay off. And that was one lucky supply closet.

The pack dynamic was really interesting. I loved the social justice reparation approach Violet took with her enchanted tattoos. Not only helping her fellow Witches with their own magic, but helping Devraj with his moral conflict of being a vegetarian vampire, and the finally finding the best spell and placement to help werewolves better control their wolves.
Hearing Shane explain that they kidnapped Violet because they never thought she'd help them willingly was heartbreaking, but knowing how they've been treated by all of supernatural society until now made total sense.

Also, TRIPLETS???? Poor Evie! But that's SO EXCITING! Now I'm dying for Walking in a Witchy Wonderland to maybe see Auntie Violet and Uncle Nico in action! But also, knowing Alpha, he's going to be borderline intolerably smug about getting Evie pregnant, with triplets, while she was on birth control. I also love Juliette's inclusion of condoms and birth control as part of each narrative. It's such a minor detail, but keeps the story so grounded in reality.

Can we also talk about the Blackwater boys????? I am dying to know more about the Grims!! How long until we get Clara out Livvy's stories with Henry and Gareth?? What CAN'T Grims do??
